August 15th sees the arrival of the Rude Mood to the courtyard @ An Seanachaí. Close your eyes and think of Italy. All right your thinking about soccer, pasta spaghetti Western and blues. What? Blues!/ Yes folks the Rude Mood are coming and you'd better be prepared to have a busload of shuffling time!
An incredible quintet coming from a small town near Milano (Italy) called Pavia, The Rude Mood were formed in 2004 by guitarist/singer Paolo Terlingo, to play the best shuffles you've ever heard.
Together with the mystic harmonica player Andrea "Slim" Sacchi, the pianist Alex "Mannish Boy" Bernini, the drummer Will "Blues Willis" Moroni and the bass player Davide "Buzz" Busnelli, the Rude Mood released the bands first album in 2005. After the first step the band has done television, radio and most importantly has toured constantly ever since. The Rude Mood has become one of the best blues bands in Italy by working hard and playing the blues from the heart. Always performing original material The Rude Mood is now fresh from winning the famous Pistoria 2009 Bluesin Festival and the Samedan 2008 Blues Festival and released their third CD, The Rude Mood III in the late spring of 2009.
The band is currently on the road to perform their new songs in Italy, Switzerland, France, Italy, Ireland and more to come.
