Hot on the heels of Chris Doran, Sean Kelly blazed into the Seanachaí kitchen cooking up a meal in aid of his chosen charity Blazing Saddles and the National Council for the Blind. There was a full house at the Seanachaí as many came out to meet one of Irelands most famous sportsmen and one of the worlds greatest cyclists, and sample the delights that he cooked up in the kitchen. Sean has scored the highest mark so far just pipping Chris Doran ( who has just released his new single).
Sean scored a remarkable 95% gaining him a very definite five star rating. A great night was had by all a few songs and stories were told. Sean donated one of his jerseys, numerous bottles from the end of events throughout his career endorsed by Sean, all raffled off. Many Thanks toTony Elsted who also organised a beautiful Waterford Crystal Vase.
Great praise should go to Linda Kelly also for her Trojan effort in selling all the tickets for the event. Ollie Wilkenson is next up to test his culinary skills and Ollie will be cooking in aid of Cappoquin Day Care Centre. Watch out for some more celebrity chefs in the new year.
