Celebrity Chef At An Seanachaí Restaurant - Chris Doran

20th November 2006

Monday 20th of November saw Chris Doran "raise it up" at the Seanachaí bar & restaurant. Chris not only delighted his guests with his heartstopping rendition of the song "you raise me up" but he also raised the standard in the kitchen by scoring a remarkable 94% gaining himself the highest vote so far and a well deserved five star rating. Chris though not too keen on wearing the chefs hat but certainly put on the chef's jacket and got stuck in with great gusto.

There was a full house at the Seanachaí and Chris's guests were treated to a mouthwatering four course meal, with choices of John Dory or Chicken Supreme as a main course. Thomas O'Leary representative of the Irish Wheelchair Association gratefully accepted the €2000 raised on the night. The night finished off in style when his guests were treated to a close up and intimate rendition, as Chris took to the floor and sang some of his own great favourites to the absolute delight of those who attended.

Many thanks Chris from all at the Seanachaí

Hot on the heels of Chris and blazing a trail into the Seanachaí kitchen Sean Kelly takes up the challenge and will cook in aid of his chosen charity national council for the blind on Tuesday 28th November. An opportunity not to be missed for all you enthusiastic cyclist to meet with one of Ireland's and the worlds greatest heros in the cycling world.
